Child Safety Standards

Last updated: Oct 4, 2026

These standards explain how Auralynk, a product of XeroLabs Private Limited ("XeroLabs", "we", "us"), prohibits and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to everyone who uses the Auralynk app on iOS and Android, and to all content and activity on it, including uploaded media, vibes, quests, custom quests, invites, and profiles.

1. Our standard: zero tolerance

Auralynk has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child is prohibited, whether it happens in the app or is arranged through the app and carried out offline. A "child" means anyone under 18 years of age.

2. What we mean by CSAE

CSAE includes any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, for example:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any visual depiction, including photos, videos, drawings, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery, of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
  • Grooming: building a relationship with a child, online or offline, in order to sexually abuse or exploit them.
  • Sextortion: threatening or coercing a child to obtain sexual images, money, or sexual contact.
  • Trafficking: recruiting, transporting, or offering a child for sexual purposes.
  • Sexualisation of minors: content that sexualises a child, including sexualised comments, captions, or quest descriptions about a minor.

3. What is prohibited on Auralynk

You must not use Auralynk to:

  • upload, share, request, store, or link to CSAM, including links to CSAM hosted elsewhere;
  • contact, message, invite, or pressure a child for sexual purposes;
  • create, join, or use a quest, custom quest, or invite to arrange in-person contact with a child for any sexual purpose;
  • request sexual images from, or send sexual content to, a child;
  • threaten, coerce, or blackmail a child;
  • promote, praise, or normalise the sexual abuse or exploitation of children; or
  • help anyone else do any of the above.

These rules apply regardless of whether the content is real, fictional, edited, or AI-generated, and regardless of whether it is presented as a joke.

4. Age requirements

Auralynk is intended only for users aged 16 and older, as set out in our Terms of Service. Accounts we believe do not meet that requirement may be suspended or removed.

5. Meeting in person

Auralynk is built around doing things in real life, so we treat attempts to move contact with a child from the app to the real world as among the most serious violations of these standards. If someone you do not know uses a quest or invite to pressure you, or a young person you know, to meet alone, keep it secret, or move the conversation to another app, report it to us and, if anyone is in immediate danger, to the police.

6. How to report

If you see content or behaviour on Auralynk that may involve child sexual abuse or exploitation, email us from within the app via Settings → Support → Email, or directly at hello@xerolabs.in with the subject line "Child Safety Report". Please include:

  • the username(s) of the account(s) involved;
  • the name of the quest, vibe, or invite, if relevant;
  • a description of what you saw and when.

Do not download, screenshot, forward, or attach images or videos that you believe show child sexual abuse. Sharing such material can itself be a crime. Describe it in words, and we will locate it.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first. In India, call 112. You can also:

  • report online to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in;
  • call CHILDLINE 1098 for help for a child in distress.

Outside India, contact your local police or your national child-protection hotline.

7. What we do when we become aware of CSAE

When we become aware of content or behaviour that violates these standards, we will:

  • remove the content and restrict access to it;
  • suspend or permanently terminate the accounts involved;
  • preserve relevant information as required by law; and
  • report it to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and cooperate with their investigations, as required by applicable law.

Users whose accounts are terminated for violating these standards may not create new accounts.

8. Compliance with child safety laws

XeroLabs complies with applicable child safety laws, including, in India, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 (including Section 67B), and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as well as applicable laws in the other countries where Auralynk is available.

9. Child safety point of contact
